I support World Vasectomy Day, not to deny the joy of parenthood, but to increase the quality of life for those who are already alive.
Having children is amazing, but let’s be honest, with 7 billion people and counting, it’s not quite the miracle it was when there were only Adam and Eve. Yes, life is extraordinary and we are all blessed to even be here, but sadly, the experiencing of it for billions of people who are born and die in poverty, is not so great. Of course, have as many children as you want and more importantly as many as you're able to give a quality of love and life you value, but making a conscious choice to have one less, and for some none, can be just as powerful. It’s not the
number of children we have that determines the size of our heart, but the size our heart that determines how much love we can bring into this world.We don’t really need another billion people on this planet, we need to do a better job of taking
care of the 7 billion we already have!
